Headquartered on the New Hampshire Seacoast, Salient's devices are sold throughout the United States, Europe and Asia and have treated patients in over 300,000 surgical procedures spanning a wide range of therapeutic areas.

What's the work environment like?

We aim to foster a professional work culture, but there's still room for you to be an individual. In general, the environment is loose but not informal. The most important thing is that we expect employees to treat each other with courtesy and respect.

Our standard business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though many departments require coverage outside of working hours. In terms of dress code, appropriate casual is the goal in all facilities. This means you're not required to wear a tie and that suits and dresses may be replaced by dress pants, khakis, etc. Jeans and denim material are okay too.

How is the company doing?

We have a patient and committed investor base focused on driving long-term growth and have raised in excess of $100MM to date. The potential for future growth in our business remains promising in 2010, and we've continued to make strategic investments to be in a good position to win new customers going forward. Our segment remains very competitive, and we have a loyal customer base, great brand equity, an ever-expanding product line, and the tools to capitalize on renewed growth in the tech sector.
